Academic Regulations

Academic calendar, examination system, evaluation framework and university holidays.

Examination System

  • Examinations are conducted according to the syllabi prescribed by the Academic Council.

  • Each course carries credits as per the approved scheme.

  • Students must complete all prescribed courses.

  • Examinations are conducted twice per semester:

    • Mid Semester Test (MST)

    • Final Semester Test (FST)

  • Examination dates are fixed by the Controller of Examinations (COE).

Attendance Requirement

To be eligible for the Final Semester Test (FST), a student must have attended not less than 75% of total classes (Lectures, Tutorials and Practicals) in the concerned course(s).

To convert CGPA awarded by the University into percentage marks:

Percentage = CGPA × 10
